Moonshine Soap Company:
"Lavender Lunacy" Soap
Product Review
Moonshine Soap Company's soaps are handcrafted, "biodegradable," and made with many natural oils which give them a creamy feel. Lavender Lunacy soap is from the Signature Shea Collection, and contains saponified oils of olive, palm kernel, shea butter, and soy; Bulgarian lavender essential oil; ground lavender buds; vitamin E; and rosemary oil extract. The ground lavender herb in this soap gives it a nice texture, and a gentle exfoliating quality. The scent of lavender is recognizable, but is pleasantly earthy and herbal, and not at all overwhelming. This soap is very gently cleansing, and in fact may seem too “gentle” to some, since it doesn’t strip the skin down to that squeaky clean feeling that some people prefer.

I would recommend Moonshine’s Lavender Lunacy soap to anyone who has sensitive skin that tends to become overly dry with the use of most soaps, or for those who may need to switch to an extra-gentle soap during the dry winter months.
Moonshine offers six different scents in its Signature Shea Collection of bar soaps, as well as an unscented bar:
~ Rosewood Forest, with rosewood and
sandalwood essential oils
~ Enchanted Earth, with patchouli and sweet orange essential oils
~ Indian Summer, with lime,
sandalwood,
patchouli,
clove bud, nutmeg, and ginger essential oils
~ Lavender Lunacy, with lavender essential oil and ground lavender buds
~ Moonglow Mint, with spearmint essential oil and ground oats
~ Spirit, with lemongrass, rosewood,
patchouli, and coriander essential oils
Other scents, such as Angel Fire, which is infused with amber resin, Cucumber Melon, and Fresh Peach, are offered as seasonal selections. Each Moonshine soap is packaged in small organza bag, a presentation that makes a nice gift.
